$109.95 Antique Victorian Cast Iron Bridge Desk Lamp with Cherub and Glass Frosted Drape and Clear Icicle Bridge Shade - Item #568
This is a very nice Antique Victorian Cast Iron Bridge Desk Lamp with Cherub and a Vintage Bridge Glass Frosted Drape and Icicle Shade. It has newer wiring and electrical, turn key and solid brass swivel cap and shade holder. We can not be sure, but this may have been a standing bridge lamp at some point in time. It has a brass rod between the iron bridge and the iron base. The base measures 8" x " and it stands 17" tall. This item is heavy so please choose USPS Parcel Post Mail with Insurance or Federal Express Home Delivery. This lamp works great and looks great on a Victorian office and desk.
SOLD $174.95 Gorgeous Vintage GWTW Hand Painted Violets Blue Porcelain Lamp - Item #385
This is a Gorgeous Vintage Porcelain Hand Painted GWTW Lamp. This vintage GWTW electric lamp is stunning with its hand painted porcelain vase and frosted globe of purple violets. It is quite unusual. You don't see many porcelain GWTW lamps. The porcelain vase is cream, blue and trimmed in gold. The center section has an antiqued brass finish. It has newer wiring and works great. There is a clear glass chimney under the hand painted frosted globe. The globe looks darker in the picture, but it is actually a normal frosted globe color. The colors on this lamp are wonderful. This lamp was never in oil that we can tell.
With the chimney on, the lamp measures 21" tall. The frosted globe is 8" in diameter. The porcelain base is 6" in diameter. There is the normal roughness on the opening of the globe and where it touches the fitter. Other than that everything looks and works great on this lamp. On the bottom of the base, someone has used gold ink to write 1950, Mom and Dad and their initials. We tried to remove the gold paint, but it would not come off. This lamp was obtained at a high end South Hampton, NY estate sale that was held in North Carolina. We do not know the exact age of this lamp but would estimate 1950s. We could not find a makers mark on this piece. A large and very beautiful lamp for your Victorian Boudoir or Parlor.
$39.95 Vintage Porcelain Boudoir Lamp with Pink Flowers and Leaves on a Marble Base - Item #361
This is a lovely Vintage Porcelain, Brass and Marble Boudoir Lamp featuring Pink Porcelain Roses and Porcelain Green Leaves. The top is trimmed in gold. The base is white marble and the lamp has connecting posts of brass. It measures 14" tall without shade and 17" tall with shade. The white marble base is 3 1/2" square. It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. We only found one area where the gold trim paint was touched in the wrong place. It isn't really worth mentioning but we value full disclosure. It was rewired prior to us purchasing it and is in great shape. It would take a light bulb 60 watts or less. We have added a vintage slip on shade that has been hand soaked and is in great condition. Due to its long size, please choose Federal Express Home Delivery at checkout. It would look lovely on a dressing table, nightstand or in vintage cottage decor.
$29.95 Vintage Signed Occupied Japan Colonial Couple Porcelain Lamp - Item #465
This is a lovely Vintage Signed Occupied Japan Porcelain Lamp with Colonial Couple. The inside bottom of the lamp is signed "MADE IN OCCUPIED JAPAN" in a burnt orange color. The lamp measures 10 1/2" tall including the socket and 14" with the shade. The base is 4" x 3 1/4". The lamp has newer lamp cord, socket, insulators and shell. This would take a light bulb 60 watts or less. There was some breakage at the very top of the lamp that has been repaired. When the shade is on the lamp, the shade covers the repair. Please click on the picture to see a close up. The lamp is in good condition, other than the repair to the porcelain. There is the normal manufacturing flaws such as spots inside the glaze. The knees of his pants are scuffed, but it appears to be part of the manufacturing process. The lamp does slant to the right. We have put on a vintage shade which was hand soaked. With the shade adjusted, the slant is not obvious. It looks great sitting on top of a dresser or bookcase, as well as on a dressing table or nightstand. Circa: 1945-1952.
SOLD $34.95 Vintage Pair of Hand Painted Pink Roses Parlor Lamps - Item #497
This is a Vintage Pair of Hand Painted Pink Roses Parlor Lamp. The roses on these lamps are gorgeous.
The base is a gold metal with sage green and the top portion of the vase is sage green. They measure 29" tall with harp by 6" wide. Without the harp and only to the top of the vase measures 16 1/2". There is a faint marker's mark on the base of the vase which we can not read. The gold metal base has some discoloration from age. The lamps worked when we plugged them in. We believe they are 3 way lamps, since they turned 3 times on our single bulb. These lamps are in "as found" condition. As with any vintage lamp, we would recommend rewiring though the wiring appears fine on the lamps. Since this piece is large, please choose USPS Parcel Post Mail or Federal Express Home Delivery at checkout. Perfect for the vintage cottage look.
