$19.95 Early 1900s Weidlich Brothers Metal Jewelry Casket, Monogrammed - Item #574

This is a beautiful Weidlich Brothers Metal Jewelry Casket from the early 1900s. We were told it was out of silverplate, but we suspect it is some other type metal. It is monogrammed with "GFM" in a pretty script type. It appears to be Art Nouvou in style with the trim around the top. It measures 7" x 3 1/4" wide. It stands on 4 flowered feet with an additional plain foot in the middle of the back bottom. It is marked at the bottom "W.B. Mfg. Co. 401". This appears to be one of their earlier pieces based on the number. Weidlich Brothers were out of Bridgeport, Connecticut. Please click on the picture to see a picture of the inside. There is a few spots of discoloration on the top. We are not sure what it has come from. The silk lining is missing from the interior. It could be relined easily. There are two cracks in the metal on the back side by the hinge. One crack is about 2" and the other is very small. Both could be easily welded back from the inside and not show from the outside. Even if this was not repaired, the top opens and closes with no problems and is very strong. You can only see the crack from the backside. The casket is heavy and out of strong metal. It would be just lovely setting on a dressing table or dresser or on a man's bureau.

$174.95 Antique Nippon Noritake Handpainted 7 Piece Dresser Set - Item #210

This is a beautiful hand painted porcelain dresser set from Nippon. It includes the footed hair receiver, hat pin holder, footed powder box and the 7 1/2" by 91/2" dresser tray. It has lovely hand painted pink roses with a light blue/aqua trim. There is gold trim around each item. It is stamped with a light blue mark "Hand Painted" with the Komaru or Maruki symbol then Nippon around the bottom of the circle. It is also marked with the number "24" several times. These pieces are in great condition for their age. There are no chips, cracks or crazing. There is some rubbing due to age on the blue on the lids and the gold around the rim of the tray and the hole in the hair receiver. There is also some of the gold lines have rubbed off. This is a lovely Vintage Wedgwood Jasperware Portland Blue Trinket Box. The back stamp reads "Wedgwood, Made in England, CH, R with a Circle around it". The color is the harder to find "Portland Blue". The trinket box features a large scene of two ancient men on the lid. There is a continuous leave motif around the sides of the base. The shape is oval. It measures approximately 4 /2" wide at the widest point and is 1 3/4" tall. It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. $94.95 Rare Antique Victorian Solid Oak 16 3/4" Milliners Hat Stand - Item #269

This is a rare, antique solid oak turned 16 1/3" tall Milliners Hat Stand. It truly is a beauty with the warm oak patina and hand carved design in the turning. The wood grain on the turning is lovely. It is a weighted hat stand with a circular piece of metal in the base. There is a circle hole in the top, but we are unsure what the hole was used for. We have never seen another one even half this beautiful and none with the carved design. It measures 6" in diameter at the base and is 16 3/4" tall. The condition is great. There is one chip on one of the turnings that has been sanded, so is barely noticeable. There are some chips in underside of the base that is not noticeable from the top. It has an oil rubbed finish. This a nice Vintage Art Deco Vanity Swivel Mirror in an antiqued gold finished frame. It appears that the finish is original to the frame. We had a custom cut mirror made for it. The mirror, measured from the back, measures 7" x 9 1/2" . The total frame measurement is 12" tall x 11 1/2" wide x 2 1/2" depth. The vanity mirror is in excellent condition. It swivels nicely. This a nice Vintage Antiqued White Art Deco Vanity Swivel Dressing Mirror. It has been antiqued with the base color being a white with a hand rubbed wax finish. It has also been slightly distressed in all the right placed. We had a custom cut mirror made for it. The mirror, measured from the back, measures 9" x 12" . The total frame measurement is 15 1/4" tall x 13 1/2" wide x 3" depth. The vanity mirror is in excellent condition. The screws will need to be tightened if you want the mirror to be at a slant. These are a nice set of Vintage Art Deco Vanity and Powder Jars with a Yellow Roses Petit Point Print. The bases of both jars are finely ribbed and the powder jar has a tulip at each foot. The larger jar is 3 1/2" round and stands 1 3/4" high and has a slip on lid. The small jar is 2 1/2" round and 1 1/4" high and has a screw on lid. It has a gold tone finish around the rims. The jars are in great condition with no chips or cracks. The petit point prints on both jars have aged and there is some water staining around the edges. This is an adorable set to adorn that vintage dresser.

This is a very nice Vintage Urbiet Orbi Millinery Hat Box from Motomachi, Yokohama. The name is on the top cover and on the side. We love its wonderful blue, white and black stripping. Such an elegant box. The hat box measures 11" in diameter x 6 1/2" tall. It is made out of card board. It has a newer pink satin ribbon. There are numerous places where the wallpaper is chipped due to wear and age, but it in no way detracts from this beautiful hat box. Just right for the Victorian dresser.

This is a very beautiful Hand Painted Footed Dresser or Trinket Box made by Ucaqco Ceramics from Japan in the 1930s. It is hand painted in pink and white roses and has gold trim around the rim and on the feet. It still has its original foil seal at the bottom. Very Victorian looking. It is from an estate. It is in great condition for being close to 80 years old. There is a small spot on top that appears to be within the glaze. You may be able to see it in the picture if you click on the picture. There is a small spot inside that may be a pit or inside the glaze. It is hard to tell. This item qualifies for USPS First Class with Insurance. This is a gorgeous Antique Victorian Hand Painted Hair Receiver featuring Pink and Purple Roses. It has scrolls of gold paint through out with gold around the lip of the lid. It is beaded and gold trimmed at the circle. It measures approximately 2 3/8" tall x 4 1/4" in diameter. It is in excellent condition with no cracks or chips.
