RARE! 9 Piece Matched Washstand Set and Bedside Table Set, including Chamber Pot. We have never seen a 9 piece matched set before. It is quite special. It is a wonderful color of pink and white ceramic. The 9 pieces include the following:
Chamber Pot with Lid Washbowl Large Pitcher Small Drinking Pitcher Cup Mug Powder or Trinket Box with Lid The condition is great for its age. We did see that the powder or trinket box base has a few cracks in the same area. The cracks have been repaired. The large Pitcher also has a crack at the lip that goes through but it is strong and appears to have been repaired. The owners in the past repaired these pieces instead of throwing them away. We appreciate that they saved these pieces because it is rare to find a complete large set like this. There is the normal crazing due to its age. There are normal manufacturer flicks or spots throughout. The chamber pot does have small age spots on the interior. Other wise the set is wonderful and rare to find a complete set this large. These pieces are normal size and so are heavy and large. Please contact us if you would like exact dimensions of the pieces. Due to the weight and size we may have to ship in separate containers. This is a breathtaking Lampas Reversible Woven Counterpane or Coverlet with floating deep orange metallic threads on a honey colored background. It has hand knotted fringe on three sides. On two of these sides, the hand knotted fringe comes directly from the honey colored background and deep orange metallic threads. It measures 71" by 90", not including the 4" of fringe. It has the initials "EHS" on a cloth tag attached to the shawl/coverlet. We believe this to be Italian made.
The pattern of the shawl coverlet is amazing. On four corners are 2 doves surrounded by roses. Please click on the picture to see closeups. We are very excited about this lovely treasure. We have done a lot of research on this textile and concluded it was Lampas since the metallic threads float on top of the honey colored background and then are woven in to the background. This allows for a reverse pattern. Please clink on the picture to see closeups of the metallic thread. Due to the light in the room when the pictures where taken, the shawl/cpverlet appears light but it is actually mid to deep orange with a honey colored background. We are unsure of the composition of the base threads but assume they are wool. This was a recent estate find. It is in great condition for its age. A tiny fraction of the floating silk has disappeared, but you would have to have a very close inspection to see it. It really is not even worth noting, but we do want buyers to know about it. It does have one small 1/4" dark spot which you can see in the pictures along with some very faint age discolorations. It is not faded at all. The hand knotted fringe has come apart in approximately 10% of the shawl. This is very common for a textile of this age. In those cases, where the fringe has come apart, it has allowed some of the border to fray. We did very gently hand soak this textile. This would make a fabulous bed cover, coverlet or tablecloth if used with due care. This is a beautiful White Bates Matelasse Coverlet or Bedspread with a repeating pattern. It measures 93" Wide x 114" Length, including the fringe. It will fit perfectly as a Queen Size Coverlet or as a Double or Full Bedspread. It has beautiful fringe on 3 sides and is finished at the top. Please click on the picture to see additional pictures of the coverlet bedspread. It is in excellent condition. There are no rips or tears. It is pure white. We only find one tiny brown spot after we hand soaked, hand laundered and air dried this coverlet bedspread. The spot may come out with treatment next time it is laundered. The Bates Tag is on the finished top which you can see if you click on the picture. The tag appears to have been partially cut. We accidentally found it while we were taking photos of the bedspread. This is a beautiful Heavy Thick Vintage Sears Candlewick Chenille White King Coverlet or Queen Bedspread with a large medallion. It has its Sears Tag on it. It measures 102" wide x 126" Length, including the fringe. It will properly fit nicely as a king size coverlet or as a Queen bedspread/coverlet. Please check the size bed you are fitting. This bedspread is pure white and in excellent condition with no stains, tears or pulls. We hand repaired any pulls that may have been there due to age. We love this beautiful White Woven Medallion Matelasse Twin Coverlet. It just speaks of antique. There is no fringe on this coverlet. It measures 78 1/2" Wide x 82" Length. It fits a twin bed. It is in great condition with an earlier well done repair in the medallion. There are two of the corner edges that have some small amount of fraying. There are a few very faint marks left after we hand soaked, hand washed and lined dried this coverlet. They may come out with the next launder. There are no rips or tears. It is pure white. We found no tags on this spread. It is a gorgeous coverlet for which we were tempted to keep for ourselves. It would look lovely at the foot of any size bed as well as spread out on a twin bed.

This is a cute Pink Chenille Twin Bedspread or Full/Double and possibly Queen coverlet. It has cute pink ball fringe. It has a repeating criss cross pattern. It measures 82 1/2" Wide x 107" Length. This is a nice Vintage Signed Bates Candlewick Chenille White Queen Coverlet or Full/Double Bedspread with a large medallion. We do not know what this pattern is called. It has a Bates Tag on it. It measures 95" wide x 112" Length, including the fringe. Please check the size bed you are fitting. This bedspread is pure white. It is in good used condition. It has some fraying on the backside of one corner hem. There is some thinning down one line of the middle top about 18" and has a yellow stain on the hem of that part. The stain may come out with treatment during the next launder. We have repaired any pulls that were there due to age. It has been hand soaked, hand laundered and line dried.
