![]() This is a darling Victorian George Stinson & Company Chromolithograph of PAPA! PAPA! copyrighted 1881 in a Wood Adirondack Criss Cross Frame. It is a 2 color tone print of green and pink. The print features a mother and an excited child seeing its Papa. George Stinson & Company was a lithography firm in Portland, Maine, operating from at least 1871 to 1890. Among their other prints were Hunting on the Susquehanna, which was also issued by Currier & Ives (number 3308). In 1871, the firm also produced lithographs of U.S. presidents with their families, including Lincoln, Grant and Washington.
The wood adirondack frame is wonderful with its criss crosses and carved leaves at the cross points, as well as being carved throughout. The frame measures 16" x 13", not including the criss crosses. We believe the frame to be about the same age as the print. The print is not permanently backed with a foam board and is in its original state with some waves. There are two chips to the paper around one of the edges, which is covered by the frame. A small missing piece of 1/4" paper is missing from the edge. You can barely see it in the photo but it in on the right hand side just a little above mid point. Other than that, everything seems to be in great condition for its age. Truly a wonderful and darling print and great frame. $149.95 Antique Victorian 1870 Currier & Ives "THE VASE OF FLOWERS" Original Hand Tinted Lithograph- Item #505

$124.95 Victorian Faux Painted Frame with a Cut Out Gold Beveled Mat and Floral Rose Print - Item #516
![]() This is a wonderful Victorian Faux Painted Frame with a Cut Out Gold Beveled Mat and Floral Rose. Victorians loved to faux paint items. This picture frame is faux painted to resemble what we believe to be burl wood. The glass is very old with seeds or air bubbles and waves in the glass. The floral print is of a pink rose with ferns and leaves. We do not know the age of the floral print or if it is original to the frame, but the print goes very nicely with the black edge of the frame. The frame measures 13 7/8" x 15 7/8" and is 1 1/2" in depth. There is one tear to the beige mat as can be seen in the photo. The print has fallen out of place a little. There is one spot at the very top right of the frame which is missing a few slivers of wood which is not noticeable unless you are looking for it. They is the normal wear to the paint which is normal for a frame of this age. We acquired this framed print from an estate. We love this print and frame. It is truly unique and beautiful. This piece would look lovely in any Victorian style home or any home for that matter.
$94.95 RARE! Victorian Currier & Ives "LITTLE ELLA" Original Hand Tinted Framed Print - Item #507
![]() This Victorian Currier & Ives Print in a Victorian Walnut Frame is adorable and rare. It is a fine colored aquatint. The colors are very vibrant. The white spot in the middle is where the camera flashed when taking the picture. Little Ella is sitting on a velvet church pew with her hands in her fur mitt. Her bible sits next to her on the bench. There is a velvet red foot stool by her feet. Her expression is precious. We love this print. In England, this print was produced as "My First Sermon". In American it was produced as "Little Ella" in black and white and sometimes tinted. The date of this print is unknown. We can tell you that the print we have is very old and aged toned. We are not experts on prints and do not know the exact age of this print but by the age tone and the attire of the child, we would place it as Victorian Era. The print is framed in a wood frame that has been gold leafed around the front surface only. The gold leaf has crackled with age. The frame measures 10 1/4" x 14". The print is in wonderful condition for its age. We did not have any issues with this print. This print was obtained at an estate auction where there was numerous Victorian Currier and Ives framed prints. Such an adorable print.

The bottom of the print reads "Rosa Gallica Officinalis, Rosier de Provina ordinaire, Imprimerie de Remond, 8". The print is wonderful and old. The print paper has aged over the years and makes this print even more pretty. The oval frame measures 13 1/4" x 16 1/4" and 1 1/4" depth. The frame has the normal rubbing of paint and there was a sticker someone put at the top which took off some of the rose gold. The print only has one area on the top left which is a slightly different color than the rest of the aged paper. Just perfect for the vintage cottage look.
